XTS-W+ Bearing Condition Monitor
The XTS-W, bearing condition monitor, is a unique condition monitoring system that provides advanced warning of wear in the cross-head, crank-pin and main bearings of 2-stroke slow speed diesel engines.
The XTS-W provides real-time information on crank train bearing wear as well a long term trends allowing engineer to accurately assess the rate of bearing wear, and make the necessary operational decisions to protect the engine and maximise running time.

XTS-W Shaft Earth Line Monitor (SELM)
- Measures the electrical potential between the propellor shaft and the hull
- Provides a constant display of shaft potential - confirms that the bonding equipment is sucessfully maintaining this at a level not exceeding the value of 50 mV
- Uses high silver composition brushes running on a silver track - provides effective and sustained low conductiv- ity necessary to ensure that the shaft bonding and its connections maintains a contact resistance no greater than 0.001
- Combines earthing and monitoring in one installation
